How billing works
“Who bills me?”
Shopify, in USD, on your Shopify invoice. You approve every change on Shopify’s plan page; Checkout X-Ray never charges you itself.
“What does unlimited mean?”
Fair use: up to 500 simulations a day, to protect your store’s API rate limit. Saving a test cart and re-running one don’t count.
“Can I cancel?”
Any time, on Shopify’s plan page. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the billing cycle, then the store is on Free.
“What happens to my test carts on a smaller plan?”
They’re kept. The oldest ones, up to the new plan’s limit, are checked; the rest wait.

Install on Shopify
Add Checkout X-Ray from the Shopify App Store. It opens in your Shopify admin, on the Free plan.
Build the customer’s cart
Open the Simulator. Pick the products, type the code they used and the country it ships to, then calculate the price.
Read the answer
The price X-ray shows each layer, and every code that wasn't applied gets a sentence saying why. Save it as a test cart to have it checked again.
