“Checkout says the code isn’t valid for my items.”

A discount’s “applies to” setting can be all products, or chosen products or collections. The code then takes money off those items only. A cart with none of them can’t use it, however big it is.

WAX15 is a lab code for 15% off Selling Plans Ski Wax. Typed into a cart with one Hydrogen board on 24 October 2026, checkout answered in its own words, above. Checkout says the items are wrong; the app names the items the code is for.

The same $590.00 cart with another code typed gets another sentence: LABOLD10 (it expired), NOPE123 (no discount uses it) and VIP20 (it’s only for some customers). Checkout shows the same $590.00 every time.

• The products and collections each discount applies to, and for buy X get Y, what has to be bought and what is given.
• The items in the cart, product by product and variant by variant.
• It only says none qualify when it could read the discount’s whole list (up to 25 products or 10 collections); a longer list gets no sentence rather than a guess.

The discount’s “applies to” products or collections, in Discounts. If the customer’s items should be included, add them or their collection; if not, the code is working as set up. When some items qualify but not enough of them, the sentence is about the minimum instead: the cart is under the minimum or too few items.
