“How do I change my plan?”

Plans are billed by Shopify, and you approve every change on Shopify’s own plan page.

Change your plan

Open Plans in the app. Free, Pro and Business are side by side, with what each includes and your plan marked.
Click Upgrade to … or Switch to …. Shopify’s plan page opens.
Approve the change there. You come back to Plans, which says the plan you’re on.

Pro and Business start with a 14-day free trial; Plans says when it ends. Manage plan in Shopify opens Shopify’s plan page to change or cancel.

Shopify bills the plan in USD, on your Shopify invoice. Checkout X-Ray never charges you itself.
A cancelled plan, or a move to a smaller one, takes effect at the end of the billing cycle. Until then you keep your plan, and Plans says when it changes.
Your test carts are kept on a smaller plan; the oldest ones, up to its limit, are checked. Settings you can’t use on the smaller plan come back when you move up.

Install on Shopify
Add Checkout X-Ray from the Shopify App Store. It opens in your Shopify admin, on the Free plan.
Build the customer’s cart
Open the Simulator. Pick the products, type the code they used and the country it ships to, then calculate the price.
Read the answer
The price X-ray shows each layer, and every code that wasn't applied gets a sentence saying why. Save it as a test cart to have it checked again.
