“What happens to my data if I uninstall?”

Shopify tells the app 48 hours after you uninstall, and then everything it kept about your store is deleted at once: test carts and their checks, changes, store events and refunds.

• Price checks, store changes and refunds are kept for 90 days. Older price checks are deleted, except each test cart’s expected and latest one and the ones its changes compare.
• No customer names, emails, phone numbers or addresses are read or kept.
• A test cart priced as one of your customers keeps only that customer’s ID and a label from their tags and order count. Refund Watch keeps the order’s customer ID with each refund.

When a customer asks your store to delete their data, Shopify tells the app: the test carts priced as that customer, and their refunds, are deleted. When a customer asks what’s kept, the app records which test carts and refunds name them.
